Yes we have a wedding licence.
Yes of course!
Not legally (as we don’t have the required covered area) but if you would like a ‘faux’ ceremony – yes of course!
Yes you are most welcome to use a specialist firework company who will set these up in the meadow.
Yes of course you are welcome to put any decorations that you wish to put in place the day before your wedding.
If you have a professional caterer you wish to use, we are very happy for you to use them. There is a facility fee of £600 for this. We will have a site meeting with your caterer and show them the Barn and the kitchen facilities, which they are welcome to use. They are responsible for taking their food waste and refuse away with them.
No, unfortunately not, as we are a fully licensed premises.
Yes of course and we can discuss with you the various ways you can do this.
Yes you can, but there is a charge of £360 plus hire.
Yes we do, but we are always happy to discuss directly with your band or DJ how this works.
Yes, you are welcome to camp on the night of the wedding and there is a charge of £240 for the use of our lovely meadow and loos.
No we don’t, but we do have a list of great suppliers that we are more than happy to share with you.
Yes of course. We have several areas available for car parking and guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight up until 12 noon the next day.
We are licensed until 11.30pm with most guests leaving at midnight.
Up to 150 guests
From 2pm onwards. There is no set time – you can choose and we will help you find the perfect time to fit into your wedding day.
Yes we love the ‘confetti shot’ – all that we ask is that you bring real flower petals.
Yes we love couples to make the barn their own.
Yes we do have a fridge you can use and you are welcome to bring this the day before too.
Yes we love them as long as they are covered – no naked flames.
You are welcome to bring your own wines and prosecco/champagne for the reception drinks, meal/wedding breakfast and toasts but these must be agreed in advance. All bottles are removed from the table at the end of the wedding breakfast.
- £14.00 per 750ml/bottle of wine for 2023
- £15.00 per 750ml/bottle of wine for 2024
- £17.00 per 750ml/ bottle of sparkling wines/prosecco/champagne for 2023
- £18.00 per 750ml/ bottle of sparkling wines/prosecco/champagne for 2024
Corkage is charged on all bottles brought and those not used will be returned but corkage will not be refunded. Please note these prices are for 2023/2024.
Yes we do have a credit card machine at the bar.
Yes we love live music and the acoustics in the barn are fantastic.
Certainly not, if you are looking for a more relaxed vibe then we can suggest ways to achieve this.
We do offer glamping in our meadow overlooking the Romney Marsh. Or there are many really wonderful local hotels, bed & breakfasts, holiday lets and Air bnb’s that we can recommend to you.
Yes you can, and we have had some lovely weddings where couples have brought their dogs and horse!
We have a speaker for your ceremony music/background music so you can Bluetooth your chosen ceremony music. We suggest you ask a friend to manage this on the day. You can practice this the day before. We also have two microphones for speeches.
