EXCLUSIVE USE WEDDING VENUE KENT
A 15th-century barn on a family farm, restored with care and still very much itself.
Odo’s Barn has stood on this stretch of Kentish farmland for centuries, long before it became an exclusive-use wedding venue. Built for work, weather, and harvests, it is generous in scale with history in its bones, and it’s practical in the way old agricultural buildings tend to be.
When it was restored for weddings, the aim was never to polish away its character. The barn still feels honest and genuinely itself, with original features, considered lighting, and wide open countryside on the doorstep.
Meet Charlotte and the team.
Charlotte renovated Odo’s in 2014 and has been hosting events at this exclusive-use Kent wedding venue ever since. She remains closely involved with every couple – from the first conversation through to the wedding day itself – bringing more than a decade of experience and a clear sense of what works to every event.
She also has a genuine love of interiors and a thoughtful eye for how a space comes together; something you can feel in every nook and cranny. Alongside her is a small, supportive team who know the barn and the rhythm of a wedding day inside out, and who put a great deal of care into everything behind the scenes.

“Charlotte, your passion for your business and love for weddings shine throughout all your guidance in the planning process, but also your support on the day…”
You took away all the stress of wedding planning, helping us with each step; recommending suppliers, supporting with decorations, regular catch-ups allowing us to visit whenever we wanted to, organising the wedding party, and generally being there for us with anything we needed.
My words cannot recommend and thank Charlotte, the team and the barn enough – so make sure you view and consider the barn as your future wedding location! Our day was everything we envisioned and more – I will always hold the memories made at Odo’s close to my heart!
—Mr & Mrs Calvert

WHO IS ODO?
The barn takes its name from Bishop Odo, half-brother to William the Conqueror, Earl of Kent, and the man traditionally responsible for the Bayeux Tapestry.
Odo’s Barn was built on this stretch of Kentish farmland in the 15th century as an agricultural tithe barn, and for hundreds of years it remained exactly that.
When Charlotte restored it as an exclusive use wedding venue in Kent, the aim was to make it work for modern celebrations without losing what made it special in the first place. A kitchen, bar, loos, and covered terrace were added, along with the seagrass carpet and ornate Italian chandeliers that give the barn its distinctive look and feel. The original features were preserved throughout – the oak beams, the old doors, the height and the generous volume of the space. It was never stripped back and started again, which is something you can feel from the moment you walk in.
