Equipment Costs
By this we mean, tables, chairs, linen, dance floor, china, cutlery and glassware for day time and evening bar drinks.

We do not own any furniture, linen, dance floor, crockery, cutlery or glassware in the barn and this is all hired in by us for your wedding.

We take delivery of the furniture and set it up in the barn ready for you to look at on the day before your wedding. You can see how it will look and make any changes if necessary when you decorate.

We only hire in exactly what your style of wedding dictates and therefore we work with both you and the caterer to make sure we order just what you need.

As a rough guide this can work out at approx. £18.00 per head but it really does depend on how many people you have and how much you need for your wedding breakfast.

We have tried to keep away from packages and for this reason we price everything individually so that you only pay for what your wedding needs.

The order is put together in conjunction with your caterer and then checked with you. We make sure the order is correct on delivery and ready for collection after your wedding. Any breakages or losses incurred by a member of your wedding party will be payable.

Decorating the Barn
We are very happy for you to decorate the barn to suit the style and theme of your wedding day. We are happy for you to put nails in the beams as long as they are taken out afterwards.

We have electric power points all around the barn and so if you would like to put up fairy lights or wrap them around the beams, you are most welcome.

Candles
We are happy for you to have candles on the tables as long as they are in glass jars and there are no naked flames.

Confetti
We are very happy for you to have confetti but it must be natural flower dried petals only.

Catering
We work with local ‘preferred caterers’ that we have full confidence in, have worked with before, who know the venue and who we have the necessary health and hygiene and insurance documentation.

However, if you have a professional caterer that you would really like to use then this must be agreed with us, in advance, and a facility fee of £5 00 would be charged for weddings in 2019 and £600 for weddings in 2020 and 2021. They are welcome to use our kitchen and amenities. Your caterer is responsible for taking their food waste and refuse away with them.

Reception Drinks
After your ceremony we can offer you a range of reception drinks. Pimms and Prosecco are the most popular but the choice is completely up to you.

Example Prices for Reception drinks in 2018:
Pimms with lemonade – £4.70 each
Prosecco (175ml) – £6.00 each
Bottles of Peroni or Corona with lime wedge – £4.00 per bottle
* Fizzy elderflower is served as a non – alcoholic drink with the above drinks.

Wines
We organise wines to go with the wedding breakfast and have a wine list for you to choose from. Wines start from £18.00 per bottle. If there is a particular wine that you would like we will always try and source it for you. Please remember that if wine prices are quoted to you in advance, there is a possibility that these prices may subject to change at the time of ordering.

Corkage
If you would like to bring your own wine for your meal/wedding breakfast only or champagne for your drinks reception or toast only, this must be agreed in advance. All wines are removed from the table at the end of the wedding breakfast. In 2019 the corkage charge is £12.00 per per 750ml bottle corkage on wine and £15.00 per 750ml bottle for sparkling wines/prosecco/champagne. For 2020 onwards it will be £14.00 and £17.00 respectively. Corkage is charged on all bottles brought and those not used will be returned but corkage will not be refunded. All other drinks must be purchased from Odo’s Barn and guests are not permitted to bring in their own alcohol or soft drinks.

We can source a range of alcoholic wedding favours for you but do not allow you to bring/supply your own. If you would like more information and prices, please do ask.

The Bar
Our new addition to the barn is our rustic pallet bar, which is fully stocked with wines, Prosecc
o, spirits, lagers, ciders, mixers and soft drinks and serves draught Peroni.
We do not make a charge for setting up the bar but we do not own any glasses to go behind the bar for the service of drinks during the daytime or evening, except for the branded Peroni glasses. The number of glasses hired in on the equipment list is reflected by the number of your day and evening guests. It is for this reason that we are able to keep our drinks prices down which is good for you and your guests.

Not included in the venue hire is the cost of the bar staff. The number of bar staff depends on the number of guests (1 member of bar staff per 25 guests) but generally we have staff working on the bar.

Guide cost for bar/drinks waiting staff for 100 guests would be 4 bar staff and 1 bar manager for 12 hours = £624.00.

On your wedding day the bar staff will arrange ‘reception drinks’ after your ceremony, organise wines and water for the tables, arrange ‘toast’ drinks and have the bar open which enables your guests to buy drinks of their choice from the bar.

If you would like real ale at your wedding then this is something that we can order in for you.

We accept credit cards at the bar.

You are very welcome to put money behind the bar if you would like.

Marquees
Included in the venue hire are the two pagodas situated on our terrace adjoining the barn adding another dimension to the barn. If your numbers are such that you would like or need a bit more space, then the pagodas are the perfect solution.

The pagoda marquees over the terrace are very popular as they make the space more versatile providing shelter and shade. They measure 12m x 6m. The terrace is ideal for drinks after your wedding ceremony, throughout the day and offers a quieter space during the evening. Evening food from your caterer can be served under the pagodas or if you are having a van for your evening food, then they offer a space close to the food van.

Access to the Barn

We are very happy for you to come to the barn on the day before your wedding to decorate. The barn will be open from the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm.

There may be occasions when you are decorating the barn on the day before your wedding that we may need to show the barn to prospective brides and grooms but we would not disturb you at all.

On the Morning of your Wedding

We will always meet any suppliers needing to make deliveries, ie. wedding cake or wedding flowers and centre pieces etc. so that you can concentrate on getting ready for your big day.

We also see in the band or dj, photobooth and other suppliers on your behalf during the wedding day.

Collecting your Decorations
Collection is on the day after your wedding between 11.00am and 1.00pm.

Licensing Hours
We are licensed to sell drinks at the bar until 11.30pm and to play music also until11.30pm. We operate a gentle leaving process with most guests leaving around midnight.

Late Licence
We are able to obtain a late licence for your wedding to serve drinks until 12.30am and play music until midnight but there is an extra cost for this, which is £500.00.
